Kelly Clarkson (American singer/songwriter) is a well-known American following her win on American Idol's first season. The show's win that catapulted Kelly Clarkson to fame, it also landed her an arrangement with RCA Records 19 Recordings & 'S Records for a number of albums. From her first appearance her album, she's released several albums. Three of those albums reached number one on the US Billboard 200. The others were close to reaching the top position. Her name is among the biggest artists that have sprung from the American Idol series. She started to explore themes and music when her popularity increased. To acknowledge her talents and individuality, she has received a lot of praise as well as awards. Most notably she has won the Grammy Award three times. The music industry isn't her only occupation. Her appearances in TV and movies. River Rose and the Magical Lullaby is her book for children. In addition, she was active in charity work as well as numerous other organisations.
