After moving to Laurel Canyon Los Angeles she shared a house with Pamela Adlon. Gunn was best known as Skyler on AMC's Breaking drama. In the years 2013, and 2014 she was awarded a nomination for Primetime Emmy Award Outstanding Supporting Artist in the Drama Series. The New York Times published an article in August 2013 in which they discussed the negative public perception about her performance.
