Kari Samantha (born on April 28 on 1967) Wuhrer is an American singer and actress. She began her professional career as a teenager and is best famous for her character of Maggie Beckett in the television series Sliders as well as her role as Sheriff Samantha Parker in the horror comedy film Eight Legged Freaks.Wuhrer was born in Brookfield, Connecticut, the daughter of Karin (nee Noble), an accountant for payroll, as well as German American Andrew Wuhrer, an officer in the police force and a automobile salesman. Her father was the eldest of her three siblings. As a teenager she was a nightclub performer in the dark, escaping from home. Kari Wuhrer is an American model, singer and actress. Her father is German American and an auto dealer as well as a police agent. Kari was born in a family of four. When she was just a teen, Kari performed in nightclubs by sneaking away from her home. Kari aged 13 years old, attended the Wooster School as well as the Tisch School of the Arts of New York University. She took drama classes in Columbia University, Marymount Manhattan College, Marymount Manhattan College College, plus The Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in which she was taught by a professor known as Uta.
