Jacqueline Fernandez, a Sri Lankan actor and model who is especially active in Indian films. Jacqueline Fernandez is her 2007. Miss Sri Lanka Universe winner. Fernandez was raised in a household with Canadian, Sri Lankan and Malaysian roots. She lived her first time in Bahrain. After obtaining a mass communication degree at the University of Sydney, she was employed at Sri Lanka as a television reporter for some time before beginning to enter the world of modeling. Following her participation in Miss Universe 2006, she gained a reputation as one of the best models in Sri Lanka. When she was in 2009 on her professional tour to India she landed the role of Jasmine in Sujoy Ghosh's 'Aladin'. In 2011, she was cast in the character of Priya in the role of the female lead in "Murder 2". Fernandez's career flourished after it became a commercial and critical success. Since then, she has been featured in films such as Housefull 2 or 3, Race 2, Definition of Fear and Judwaa 2 She has won multiple accolades and is an ambassador for several companies from around the world. A committed participant in the community she is an active supporter of numerous charitable organizations and a number of causes.
